1. Introductory Provisions

1.1. These General Terms and Conditions and the Informed Client Consent (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") regulate the contractual relationship between the company

(hereinafter referred to as the "Provider")

and the client who utilizes the services offered by the Provider (hereinafter referred to as the "Client").

1.2. The Provider is not a healthcare facility under Act No. 578/2004 on Healthcare Providers. The services provided are of a preventive and informational nature and do not substitute for a professional dermatological examination.

1.3. By using the website www.skyn.sk, booking, or undergoing an examination, the Client confirms that they have familiarized themselves with these GTC, understand them, and agree with them.

2. Nature of the Provided Services

2.1. The Provider conducts preventive skin and mole mapping using the FotoFinder ATBM Master (4th generation) device with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI).

2.2. The examination consists of scanning the entire body surface and creating high-quality image documentation of skin lesions. The results are then assessed by a general practitioner collaborating with the Provider, who might recommend further specialized examination (e.g., surgical or dermatological).

2.3. The aim of the service is the timely detection of potential skin changes, but the service is not a medical diagnosis or treatment.

3. Risks and Limitations of the Service

3.1. The Client acknowledges that:

• the device and AI analysis may not detect all pathological changes,

• the results are of an informational nature,

• the examination does not replace a professional dermatological check-up,

• the Provider does not guarantee 100% accuracy or completeness of the outputs,

• the Client is fully responsible for further medical procedures and monitoring their health status.
  
  

3.2. The Provider is not liable for any health consequences (including disease progression, complications, or death) resulting from undetected or late-detected skin conditions, provided the Provider acted following standard procedures and the technical capabilities of the device.

3.3. The service is of a preventive, not diagnostic or therapeutic nature.

4. Booking and Cancellation Policy

4.1. Appointments can be booked via the website, by phone, or in person.

4.2. A reservation becomes binding once confirmed by the Provider.

4.3. Free cancellation is possible at least 24 hours before the planned examination.

4.4. If canceled less than 24 hours in advance, the Provider may charge a cancellation fee of €50, and for no-shows without apology, a fee of €80.

5. Prices and Payment Terms

5.1. The current price list is published on the Provider's website and may change.

5.2. Payment can be made in cash, by payment card, or bank transfer as agreed.

5.3. The Provider may require advance payment.

6. Complaints and Grievances

6.1. Clients have the right to submit a complaint in writing to the Provider's registered office or via email.

6.2. Complaints are addressed within 30 days.

6.3. The Provider is only liable for errors that can be objectively attributed to its activities, not for health complications.

7. Informed Client Consent

7.1. I hereby confirm that I have been duly informed about:

• the nature, purpose, and process of the examination,

• the limitations and risks of the FotoFinder ATBM Master method,

• the fact that the Provider is not a healthcare facility and the examination does not replace a professional medical check-up,

• the need to consult any suspicious changes with a dermatologist or other physician.

7.2. I voluntarily consent to the preventive examination and confirm that I understand it.

7.3. I agree to the processing of my personal and health data to the extent necessary for the purposes of the examination and storage of image documentation.

7.4. I declare that I have had the opportunity to ask questions, received understandable answers, and understand all the information provided.

7.5. I undergo the service voluntarily, at my own risk.

8. Final Provisions

8.1. The Provider reserves the right to change these GTC. The current version is always available on the website.
8.2. Legal relationships not governed by these GTC are subject to the legal system of the Slovak Republic.
8.3. Disputes between the Provider and the Client are primarily resolved by agreement, failing which, in the court according to the Provider’s registered office.
8.4. These GTC become effective on October 1, 2025.
